Role Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage material procurement and vendor coordination for interior turnkey projects. The role involves sourcing materials as per approved specifications, negotiating competitive rates and ensuring timely delivery within project budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan procurement requirements with the design, estimation and project execution teams based on BOQs, approved specifications and project schedules.
- Source materials including plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, furniture, flooring, tiles, sanitary fittings, lighting, electrical supplies and other interior finishing products.
- Obtain vendor quotations and prepare comparisons covering price, quality, payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate rates, credit periods, freight charges, warranties and replacement terms.
- Prepare purchase orders after obtaining the required approvals and track orders through delivery.
- Coordinate material samples and technical specifications with the design team before placing orders.
- Ensure materials reach project sites in the required quantities and within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve shortages, damaged supplies, incorrect deliveries and material returns.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network,



with alternate suppliers for critical materials.
- Monitor procurement costs against approved budgets and identify savings while maintaining specified quality.
- Maintain purchase orders, quotations, delivery challans, invoices and vendor records.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and vendor payments.
- Track available stock and surplus materials across sites to reduce unnecessary purchases.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, delivery and service.

Qualifications & Skills

- Graduate or diploma holder in a relevant field.
- Relevant procurement experience in interior contracting, construction, fit-out or turnkey projects.
- Working knowledge of interior materials, brands, specifications and market pricing.
- Ability to read BOQs and understand material requirements from drawings.
- Strong negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with procurement or ERP software is preferred.
- Ability to manage purchases for multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to visit vendors, markets and project sites as required.

Salary: Based on experience and suitability.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
