1. Job Summary

We are looking for a technically competent and result-oriented Sales & Service Engineer to manage sales development, customer relationships, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales service activities across South India.

The candidate will be responsible for developing current business opportunities, supporting existing customers, conducting technical presentations, and ensuring the smooth operation of environmental monitoring and pollution control systems.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across South India.
- Generate leads and establish relationships with industries, consultants, EPC contractors, and channel partners.
- Promote environmental monitoring products, including OCEMS, CEMS, AQMS, and related systems.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on commercial proposals, and support order closure.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular sales reports.

B. Installation & Commissioning

- Install and commission environmental monitoring equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct system testing, calibration coordination, and operational verification.
- Ensure installations comply with applicable technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the backend technical team for commissioning and system integration.

C. Service & Technical Support

- Troubleshoot equipment, analyser, sensor, and communication-related issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.
- Attend customer complaints within defined service timelines.




- Prepare service reports and maintain equipment maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the remote technical support team for complex technical issues.
- Train customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

D. Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for AMC, CMC, spare parts, and system upgrades.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
- Maintain customer visit reports, service records, and sales pipeline updates.

3. Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, or a related engineering discipline.

4. Required Experience & Skills

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical sales, field service, instrumentation, industrial automation, or environmental monitoring equipment.
- Experience with OCEMS, CEMS, AQMS, analysers, sensors, or industrial monitoring systems will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA, and industrial communication protocols is desirable.
- Strong customer handling, communication, troubleshooting, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with backend teams.
- Valid driving licence preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
