VMC Machine Operator

Industry: Precision Cutting Tools (CBN, PCD, Solid Carbide & Tool Holders)

Location: Chakan, Pune

Shift: 12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) With OT / without OT 8 HRS Shift

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 / month

Experience: Minimum 2 yr - 5 yr (VMC Operator / Toolroom)

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate VMC machines (Fanuc / Siemens controls).

Machine specialized cutting tool bodies, holders, and inserts.

Load materials, set tool length/work offsets, and run CNC programs.

Inspect dimensions using micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges.

Perform daily machine maintenance, tool wear checks, and follow 5S safety norms.

Requirements

Education: ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) or Mechanical Diploma.

Skills: VMC operation,



technical drawing reading, and precision measurement tools.

Selection Process

HR Screening: Basic background, shift availability, and salary check.

Technical Interview: Technical drawing reading and machining concepts.

Practical Test: On-machine offset setup and trial test in Chakan.
