Job Profile

Design & Engineering (Mechanical) is responsible for leading, managing, and

delivering mechanical design and engineering activities for Air pollution control

systems FGD and ESP Upgradation, while mentoring the engineering team and

coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

➢ Lead mechanical design and engineering activities for FGD and ESP upgradation projects.

➢ Manage engineering deliverables from proposal, basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, commissioning, and performance guarantee testing.

➢ Support proposal/process engineering, including technical clarifications, weight optimization, and design concepts.

➢ Review and approve design calculations, GA drawings, layouts, P&IDs;, equipment datasheets, and technical specifications.

➢ Strength Calculations of Absorber Tower of LSFGD & ASFGD system, Spray Dryer Absorber & Circulating Dry Scrubber using Staad Pro FEA.



Industrial Stacks as per IS 6533 and ASME STS-1 by using Dynastack & Mecastack.

➢ Steel Structural design and analysis of Support structure, Stair tower, Duct support etc using Staad Pro software.

➢ Coordinate closely with process, electrical, instrumentation, civil, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure integrated project execution.

➢ Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluation, vendor drawing review, and supplier coordination.

➢ Interface with clients, consultants, and statutory authorities for technical discussions, approvals, and compliance requirements.

➢ Ensure designs comply with contractual requirements, international codes/standards, project specifications, and environmental regulations.

Technical and Software Knowledge

➢ In-depth knowledge of FGD & ESP design principles, Process equipment design and layouts.

➢ Proficiency in Staad Pro Software and its FEA Module.

➢ Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / PDMS / E3D or equivalent design tools.

➢ Familiarity with CFD concepts, material selection, corrosion/erosion issues.

➢ Knowledge of Standards like ASME Sec VIII Div 1, API 650, IS 6533, IS800

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
