Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Electrical Designer to join our construction project team in Chennai. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD and electrical drawing preparation for building construction projects, including residential, commercial or industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical MEP drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for construction projects.
- Develop electrical lighting layouts, power layouts, cable routing and electrical distribution drawings.
- Prepare and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load schedules and electrical drawing documentation.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to coordinate electrical services with other MEP disciplines.
- Coordinate with design engineers, site engineers, consultants and contractors.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable electrical standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant MEP Electrical Design experience.




- At least 1–2 years of hands-on AutoCAD electrical drawing preparation experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience preparing electrical drawings for building construction projects.
- Good understanding of lighting, power distribution, SLDs, load schedules and MEP coordination.
- Experience in residential, commercial or industrial construction projects is preferred.

Joining Requirement

Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15–20 days will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
