Job Description – Account Manager

CTC: ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Summary

Saraswati Group of Colleges is seeking an experienced and responsible Account Manager to oversee the institution’s accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting operations, including vouchers, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, fee records, vendor payments, and expense monitoring.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax,



EPF, ESI, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and relevant authorities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Monitor expenditures, implement cost-control measures, and support financial planning.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com / M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience; educational institution experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Robust knowledge of taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills.
