Job Summary

Pulse Medi Care Hospital is looking for a responsible, reliable, and experienced Driver to support hospital transportation requirements. The candidate will be responsible for driving hospital vehicles safely, transporting staff and authorized passengers, assisting with hospital-related transportation duties, and ensuring that vehicles are maintained in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive hospital vehicles safely and responsibly according to traffic rules and regulations.
- Transport hospital staff, doctors, patients, and authorized passengers as required.
- Operate an ambulance only if appropriately licensed, trained, and authorized.
- Ensure timely transportation for hospital-related duties and appointments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, including fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and essential equipment.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, and accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, mileage, and trips.
- Ensure that vehicle documents, insurance, permits, and pollution certificates are valid, as applicable.
- Follow designated routes and use navigation tools when necessary.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when required and safe to do so.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and hospital activities.




- Follow hospital policies, road safety procedures, and instructions from management.
- Remain available for rotational shifts, emergency duties, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by hospital management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum qualification: 10th pass preferred.
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle category.
- Previous driving experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Good driving skills and a robust commitment to road safety.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and rotational shifts.
