Bansal Motors is looking for an experienced and results-driven General Manager – Spare Parts to oversee spare parts operations, inventory management, procurement, sales, vendor relationships, and team performance. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in automobile spare parts, preferably in commercial vehicles, along with proven capabilities in demand forecasting, stock optimization, customer satisfaction, and profitability improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall spare parts operations, including inventory, procurement, sales, and distribution.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control and stock management strategies.
- Monitor stock levels, fast-moving and slow-moving items, and ensure optimum inventory availability.
- Plan spare parts procurement based on demand forecasts, sales trends, and service requirements.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely availability of genuine spare parts.
- Drive spare parts sales, revenue growth, gross margins, and departmental profitability.
- Minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, obsolete stock, and inventory carrying costs.
- Lead, train, and manage the spare parts team to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory turnover, fill rate, sales performance, and gross profit margins.
- Ensure accurate stock records, billing, documentation, and regular physical stock audits.




- Coordinate with service, workshop, accounts, and sales departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory, sales, procurement, profitability, and operational performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 8–12 years of relevant experience in automobile spare parts management.
- Experience in commercial vehicle spare parts operations will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automobile spare parts, inventory planning, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Proven experience in team leadership, sales management, and profitability improvement.
- Knowledge of inventory management software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Excellent vendor negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stock availability, control costs, and achieve business targets.
- Graduate degree required; relevant automobile or supply chain experience preferred.
