The Role

You will build the simulation models that prove our solutions work before they are built. You will combine Tecnomatix expertise with strong data analysis, handling large datasets to build accurate models and turning the results into clear, decision-ready insights for clients and for our proposal team.

Key Responsibilities

- Build end-to-end plant-level and cell-level simulation models using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and Process Simulate for AGV/AMR systems, conveyor networks, warehouse operations and factory logistics
- Analyse and clean large datasets (orders,



SKU profiles, production and warehouse data) and use them to build and calibrate simulation models
- Analyse throughput, bottlenecks, resource utilisation and production capacity across simulation models
- Perform what-if scenario analyses for automation investments, fleet sizing and layout changes
- Model AGV/AMR fleet behaviour, including path planning, charging cycles and traffic management
- Develop Process Simulate models for robotic workcells, assembly lines and material handling systems
- Create detailed 3D simulations covering robot reach studies, collision detection and process sequencing
- Support virtual commissioning workflows via OPC UA, PLCSIM Advanced or SIMIT
- Create simulation-based technical demonstrations for commercial proposals, working closely with the sales and proposal team
- Translate simulation KPIs (OEE, throughput, WIP, utilisation) into clear insights for client presentations
- Build and maintain a reusable model library and documentation

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
- Hands-on experience with Tecnomatix Process Simulate: robotic cell simulation,



assembly validation or virtual commissioning
- Robust SimTalk scripting skills: routing logic, event controllers, statistics methods and table operations
- Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to handle large datasets and use them to build and validate simulation models
- Solid understanding of AGV/AMR systems, conveyor networks and warehouse material flow
- Experience with bottleneck analysis, OEE improvement and throughput optimisation
- Familiarity with factory engineering concepts: cycle time, takt time, WIP and line balancing
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline

Good to Have (a big plus)

- Programming and data handling skills: Python (pandas, NumPy), SQL, Excel/VBA, and visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Experience connecting simulation models to external data sources, databases or APIs
- Exposure to other simulation tools such as AnyLogic, FlexSim or Isaac Sim
- Interest in Physical AI, humanoids and emerging industrial technology
