Job Summary

As a Senior React Native Developer at Fairdeal.market, you will lead the development of our mobile applications and raise the bar for how we build. Beyond shipping high-quality features, you will own reusable component libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and app monitoring — and you will work fluently with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to move faster without compromising quality. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, and mentor mid-level developers on the team.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Architect and maintain reusable component libraries and front-end frameworks that scale across the app and speed up future development.
- Build, own, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and releases (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or similar).
- Set up and maintain app monitoring, crash reporting, and performance observability (e.g., Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics), and act on the signals.
- Leverage agentic and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery; build internal skills, agents, and automation that improve team productivity.
- Optimize application performance, startup time, and scalability for a native-quality experience.
- Implement clean, smooth animations and transitions (e.g., Reanimated, Gesture Handler).




- Integrate with backend services and RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless and reliable data flow.
- Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and native-layer issues across both platforms.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, review practices, and technical direction; mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Stay current with the mobile and AI-tooling landscape and drive improvements across the stack.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of skilled React Native experience shipping production apps to the App Store and Play Store.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building and publishing reusable component libraries and front-end frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for mobile (build, test, and release automation).
- Experience setting up monitoring, crash reporting, and performance observability, and using the data to improve app health.
- Demonstrated experience with agentic / AI-assisted development — using AI coding tools day-to-day and creating skills, agents, or automation to boost development workflows.
Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) and modern React patterns (hooks,

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT).
- Strong command of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with native modules and debugging at the native layer (Android/iOS).
- Experience creating product and development roadmaps.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to mentor others.
