Job Summary

Collective Cuisines is looking for an experienced Senior Captain to manage Front of House (FOH) operations, supervise the service team, ensure excellent guest experiences, and support restaurant sales and operational standards.

The candidate should have minimum 3–4 years of relevant restaurant/F&B; experience and must be able to speak and understand Hindi.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily FOH restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Supervise Captains, Waiters, Senior Waiters, and support staff.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate duties and sections.
- Monitor service flow and maintain restaurant service standards.
- Manage reservations, seating plans, and table allocation.
- Greet guests and professionally handle complaints and escalations.
- Drive upselling of food, beverages, and desserts and support achievement of daily sales targets.
- Train and guide floor staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and SOPs.
- Monitor FOH inventory, including linen, cutlery, glassware, and consumables.
- Maintain grooming, hygiene, food safety,



and discipline standards.
- Review shift sales, cash/payment summaries, guest feedback, and handover reports.
- Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in restaurant/F&B; service.
- Experience as a Captain, Senior Captain, or Floor Supervisor preferred.
- Hindi speaking and understanding is mandatory.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Robust team supervision and floor-management skills.
- Experience in handling guest complaints.
- Knowledge of POS/billing systems preferred.
- Good understanding of upselling and restaurant sales.
- Willing to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary will be fixed based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and interview performance.
