Job Description – Purchase Manager

Location: Lower Parel/Curry Road
Department: Purchase / Procurement
Travel: Frequent travel to Wada Palghar
Reporting To: General Manager / Management

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement for our manufacturing unit, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, quality materials, timely delivery, and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, consumables, engineering spares, machinery, and factory requirements.
- Plan purchases based on production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors; negotiate pricing, credit terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and release purchase orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality,



and Accounts for timely material availability and smooth operations.
- Monitor vendor performance, pending orders, inventory levels, and material shortages.
- Drive cost savings, alternate sourcing, and inventory optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

- Robust experience in manufacturing procurement and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, market research, and cost-control skills.
- Knowledge of raw materials, packaging, engineering spares, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in quotation analysis, PO management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
