Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager- Kerala

Location: Kochi

· The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new markets & creating a dealer/distribution network in Kollam, Palakkad & TVM.

· He will identify 3-4 prospective cities within each Districts and appoint 1-2 sales executives to travel to these cities regularly to develop business MEP business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Identify new markets and promote product line and company brand in the market
- Conduct market research, sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products.
- Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product pricing.
- Evaluate metrics on specific product lines and create goals for the sales team to achieve set targets
- Hire 1-2 sales executives to travel and work under him
- Able to manage dealer & distributor network
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit analysis to senior Operations Head.
- Serve as the first point of contact with vendors and distributors.
- Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results
- Collaborate and participate in promotional activities or trade shows
- Negotiate contracts for services




- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales & Business Development.
- At least 5years of experience in managing a sales team efficiently
- Expertise in managing dealer distributor network
- Prior experience & knowledge in the sales of building materials is an asset
- Candidate must be between 45-55 years of age
- Must be willing to travel
- MBA degree preferred
- Proficient level of English is a must- verbal & written
- Spoken level of local and other languages will be an asset

Salary: 35 K - 45 K (depending on experience) & Sales commission.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday 9 AM - 6 PM
