Role overview

Lead the service department and help customers get the right service for their products. Understand

their needs and product problems, coordinate with the service and technical team, keep customers

updated, and help grow service revenue.

Key responsibilities

 Oversee daily service work and keep track of customer enquiries, pending jobs and completed

service cases.

 Arrange the right service with the service or technical team. Check what needs to be done before

sharing advice with the customer.

 Explain the service process, approved charges and expected completion time in simple words. Get

customer approval before paid work starts.

 Follow up with the service and technical team on pending jobs, parts and delays. Keep customers

informed until the work is complete.

 Help generate service revenue by explaining suitable paid services when needed. Work towards

agreed targets without pressuring customers or making false promises.

Candidate requirements

 Education / qualification: At least 12th pass.

 Experience required: About 3 years of prior experience.

 Languages required: English, Bengali, Hindi and Nepali.

 Customer service skills; able to understand product problems and explain the next steps clearly.





 Team coordination; able to organise daily service work and follow up with the technical team.

 Follow-up skills; able to track each service case from the first enquiry to completion.

 Service revenue focus; able to explain suitable paid services and track agreed targets.

 Complaint handling; able to stay calm and take responsibility for customer concerns.

 Excel and Google Sheets skills; proper knowledge of advanced Excel and Google Sheets to keep

service records and prepare reports.

 AI awareness; slight knowledge of AI tools.

 Interest in electronics and IT products; willing to learn service processes and warranty terms.

Work location / branch: Placewell Retail, beside Hotel Vinayak, Hill Cart Road, Siliguri.

Weekly off: Sunday (fixed).

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
