Job Summary

A Computer Resource Person in a school is responsible for managing computer systems, supporting teachers and students in using technology, maintaining computer labs, and assisting with digital teaching and learning activities. The role also includes providing basic technical support and ensuring the effective use of computers and educational software in the school.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Computer Education

- Teach basic computer skills to students, where required.
- Help students learn computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet usage, and digital literacy.
- Assist teachers in integrating technology into classroom teaching.

2. Computer Lab Management

- Maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure that computer labs are clean, organized, and functional.
- Monitor the proper use of computer lab equipment by students.

3. Technical Support

- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Install and update software, applications, and antivirus programs.
- Coordinate with technical support teams for major repairs.

4. Digital Learning Support

- Assist teachers with smart boards, digital classrooms, presentations, and educational applications.
- Support online classes, digital assessments, and computer-based examinations.




- Help prepare digital teaching materials and learning resources.

5. School IT Administration

- Maintain records of computer equipment, software, and IT-related activities.
- Assist with online school portals, student data entry, and digital record management.
- Ensure safe internet usage and follow data privacy and security practices.

6. Training and Guidance

- Train teachers and staff in basic computer applications and digital tools.
- Guide students on responsible internet use and cyber safety.
- Conduct computer awareness activities as assigned by the school.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Tech. (CSE/IT), or a relevant computer diploma may be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and office applications.

Required Skills

- Valuable computer and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students, teachers, and school staff.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
