Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester with 3–5 years of experience in manual and automated testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by executing test plans, automating test scenarios, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- · Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- · Execute manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
- · Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools, preferred Katalon Studio.
- · Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- · Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- · Validate software functionality against business requirements and quality standards.
- · Conduct API testing and integration testing to ensure system reliability.
- · Execute database validation and data integrity checks using SQL queries.
- · Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- · Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, test summary reports, and testing documentation.
- · Support release validation, production deployment verification, and post-release testing activities.

Required Skills

- · 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
- · Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)



and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- · Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, test reports, and defect reports.
- · Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio or automation testing tools for test automation is added advantage.
- · Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or Redmine.
- · Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- · Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or Katalon API Testing.
- · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- · Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as:

o Katalon Studio

o Selenium WebDriver

o Playwright

o Cypress

o Appium

- · Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- · Understanding of security testing concepts and tools such as OWASP ZAP.
- · Experience in ERP, Distribution Management System, Warehouse Management System, Sales Force Automation, Supply Chain, or Enterprise Application Testing.

Education
