JOB DESCRIPTION – CONSTRUCTION DRAWING DRAFTSMAN

Job Summary

Bilara Group is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Drawing Draftsman to prepare accurate, detailed, and execution-ready construction drawings for residential building projects. The candidate will coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and site engineers to ensure that drawings are clear, technically accurate, and aligned with approved designs and site requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed working drawings from architectural and structural designs.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Prepare door and window schedules, staircase details, toilet details, kitchen layouts, and other construction-related drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural elements based on approved structural drawings and engineering instructions.
- Develop detailed construction drawings with dimensions, levels, annotations, specifications, and material details.
- Prepare enlarged details and sectional drawings for execution at the construction site.
- Review architectural, structural, and other relevant drawings to identify discrepancies or coordination issues.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers to clarify drawing requirements.




- Revise drawings based on design changes, client requirements, engineering instructions, and site feedback.
- Ensure consistency between architectural drawings, structural drawings, and detailed working drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, documentation, and drawing registers.
- Ensure that the latest approved drawings are issued to the concerned site teams.
- Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and necessary technical details.
- Follow company standards, drawing conventions, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
- Good understanding of residential building construction and construction detailing.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of dimensions, levels, sections, elevations, and construction terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams and incorporate feedback.
- Good communication, time-management, and organizational skills.




- Knowledge of construction execution practices and site requirements is preferred.

- Drawing Accuracy: Ensure drawings are dimensionally accurate, transparent, and technically consistent.
- Timely Delivery: Complete and submit drawings within the agreed project schedules.
- Construction Detailing: Prepare comprehensive working drawings suitable for site execution.
- Drawing Coordination: Minimize discrepancies between architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
- Revision Management: Maintain proper revision control and ensure timely incorporation of approved changes.
- Documentation: Maintain organized drawing files, records, and drawing registers.
- Site Support: Resolve drawing-related queries promptly in coordination with the concerned technical team.

Performance Expectations

- Deliver accurate and complete construction drawings with minimal errors.
- Ensure drawings are prepared according to approved designs and technical instructions.
- Avoid delays caused by incomplete drawings or missed revisions.
- Maintain effective coordination with design and construction teams.
- Ensure that only the latest approved drawings are shared for site execution.

Reporting To: Head of Department / Reporting Manager

Note: The candidate must have a practical understanding of residential construction and the ability to convert design drawings into detailed working drawings for actual site execution.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
