Microsoft 365 Engineer – L2
Role Overview
The Microsoft 365 Engineer – L2 will provide advanced administration and troubleshooting for
enterprise Microsoft 365 environments and support identity, endpoint, security, compliance and
migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 administration and troubleshooting for:
Exchange Online
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint Online
OneDrive
Microsoft Entra ID
Intune
Microsoft Defender
Microsoft Purview
Manage users, licenses, security policies and access controls.
Support and administer:
Active Directory
Group Policy
DNS
DHCP
Entra Connect
Hybrid identity
Administer SCCM/MECM, including:
Application deployment
Patch management
Operating System Deployment (OSD)
Task sequences
Reporting
Intune co-management
Support Microsoft 365 Tenant-to-Tenant migration activities covering:
Exchange Online/mailboxes
OneDrive
SharePoint Online
Microsoft Teams
Identity objects
Support Active Directory migration activities, including:
Domain consolidation
User and computer migration
Group Policy migration
Post-migration validation
Perform incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain PowerShell automation/scripts for operational activities.
Prepare technical documentation, SOPs and operational procedures.
Collaborate with customer and internal technical teams to identify and design Data & AI
solutions that support business transformation and measurable outcomes.
Contribute to AI strategy, data architecture, governance and advanced analytics use cases.
Support pre-sales, solution design and delivery activities for AI, machine learning and
generative AI initiatives where applicable.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
Valuable working knowledge of Microsoft 365 E3/E5 workloads.
Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Entra ID.
Working knowledge of Intune, Defender and Purview.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Entra Connect.
Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM.
Experience with Microsoft 365 migration activities.
Working knowledge of PowerShell.
Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
