Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Mathematics Teacher for Grades 6 to 8 who can create an engaging and student-centered learning environment aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to foster logical thinking and problem-solving abilities among students.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Mathematics lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Teach core mathematical concepts including number systems, algebra, geometry, mensuration, data handling, and practical arithmetic.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment papers.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, activity-based learning, and technology-enabled teaching aids.
- Encourage students to develop analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular class tests, unit tests, periodic assessments, and term-end examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.

Classroom Management

- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
- Ensure active participation of all students during lessons.
- Address individual learning needs and support slow learners as well as advanced learners.
- Promote collaborative and experiential learning through group activities and projects.

Student Development

- Track and monitor academic progress of students.
- Identify students needing additional academic support and provide remedial teaching.




- Prepare students for Olympiads, inter-school competitions, and mathematical activities.
- Encourage confidence and interest in Mathematics through real-life application examples.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain student records, assessment reports, and progress sheets.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide academic updates.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, training sessions, and school events.
- Support school activities, assemblies, examinations, and co-curricular programs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics / Science / Education
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- TET / CTET qualification preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred)
