Job Description: Video Editor

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and UGC-style content.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, including vlogs, interviews, podcasts, and educational or promotional content.
- Create high-retention videos using dynamic cuts, storytelling, transitions, sound effects, subtitles, and motion graphics.
- Perform professional colour correction and colour grading to achieve a consistent, polished visual style.
- Edit UGC ads, product videos, brand promotions, influencer content, and performance marketing creatives.
- Add background music, sound design, voiceovers, captions, and visual effects wherever required.
- Optimise videos for different social media platforms, aspect ratios, durations, and audience preferences.
- Collaborate with the content, creative, and marketing teams to understand briefs and deliver videos aligned with brand objectives.
- Maintain consistent video quality while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
- Incorporate client feedback and make revisions while maintaining creative standards.
- Organise project files, footage, assets, and final exports for easy access and future editing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a digital marketing agency, production house, or content-driven environment.
- Strong expertise in short-form and long-form video editing.
- Hands-on experience editing UGC videos, social media ads, and promotional content.




- Proficiency in skilled editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Good understanding of colour correction, colour grading, audio balancing, and sound design.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, animated captions, and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of social media trends, audience retention, hooks, pacing, and engaging content formats.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and convert ideas into compelling visual content.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience editing content for multiple brands or clients.
- Familiarity with After Effects and advanced motion graphics.
- Experience with performance marketing creatives and direct-response video ads.
- A strong portfolio showcasing Reels, UGC ads, YouTube Shorts, long-form videos, and colour grading.
- Ability to adapt editing styles to different brand identities and target audiences.
