Quality Engineer

Department: Quality

Designation: Quality Engineer

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Location: Manufacturing Plant

1. Job Purpose

To ensure smooth maintain product quality standards, minimize rejection and rework, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirement

B. Quality Responsibilities

Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings and specifications.

Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process inspections.

Check critical dimensions using Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Monitor rejection, rework, and process defects; implement corrective and preventive actions.

Identify and control defects such as burrs, cracks, deformation, dimensional variation, and improper holes.

Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, and quality documentation.

Coordinate with the Quality Department for customer complaints and corrective actions.





Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and customer requirements.

3. Qualifications

Diploma / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

4. Experience

2–5 years of experience in quality an automotive or manufacturing industry.

Experience in sheet metal stamping, press tools, die setting, and inspection activities will be preferred.

5. Technical Skills

Knowledge of press machines, press tools, and sheet metal components.

Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.

Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods.

Knowledge of 7 QC tools, root cause analysis, 5 Why, and CAPA.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
