Balaji Malts Pvt. Ltd. is part of the Jodhani Group and is engaged in the import, trading and supply of coal. The company works with international suppliers, banks, shipping agencies, ports, customers and other stakeholders involved in the coal import and trading process.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Trade Finance professional to manage and coordinate import trade finance activities, banking transactions, documentation, and related financial processes. The candidate will work closely with Finance, Imports & Shipping, banks, suppliers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of trade transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Import Letters of Credit (LCs), including issuance, amendments, document scrutiny, and retirement.
- Coordinate with banks regarding LCs, import bills, payments, forex transactions, and trade-related documentation.
- Review import documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Entry, etc.
- Coordinate with the Imports & Shipping and Finance teams for timely processing of import transactions.
- Monitor LC limits, payment due dates,



bank charges, and transaction status.
- Liaise with suppliers, banks, shipping agents, and internal teams for resolving documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and supporting documents.
- Assist in foreign currency payments, remittances, and reconciliation of trade-related transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable banking, regulatory, and internal company requirements.
- Prepare regular MIS and reports related to trade finance activities.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- 5 + years of relevant experience in Trade Finance, Import Finance, Banking Operations or similar role.
- Positive practical knowledge of Import LC, trade documentation, banking processes, and foreign exchange transactions.
- Strong coordination, documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in import/export or commodity trading will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
