Job Summary

George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. – Maruti Suzuki is looking for an experienced Body Shop Manager for our Kalamassery branch. The candidate will be responsible for managing overall body shop operations, supervising the team, ensuring repair quality, coordinating insurance claims, and maintaining customer satisfaction while achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily body shop operations, including denting, painting, accident repairs, and vehicle restoration.
- Lead and monitor body shop technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
- Allocate jobs and ensure timely completion and delivery of vehicles.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure repair quality and adherence to Maruti Suzuki standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, customers, and service teams for claim processing and approvals.
- Monitor body shop revenue, profitability, expenses, and departmental performance.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
- Monitor repair estimates, job cards, parts requirements, and related documentation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports.




- Ensure compliance with workshop safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Spare Parts, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Maruti Suzuki dealership, particularly in body shop operations.
- Strong knowledge of automobile body repairs, denting, painting, accident repairs, and insurance claim procedures.
- Proven experience in team management and workshop operations.
- Good understanding of body shop productivity, WIP management, and quality control.
- Knowledge of dealership processes, customer handling, and performance monitoring.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and workshop management systems.

Important Requirement

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
