Job Summary

Pulse Medi Care Hospital is seeking a compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Patient Care Assistant to support patients with their daily care needs and assist the nursing team in delivering safe, quality healthcare. The ideal candidate should be caring, attentive, and committed to maintaining patient comfort, dignity, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Assist nursing staff with routine patient care activities under their supervision.
- Monitor patients for discomfort or changes in their condition and promptly inform the nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and care areas.
- Assist with bed making and ensure patients are comfortable.
- Support the safe transportation of patients to different hospital departments.
- Help patients with mobility and positioning to maintain comfort and prevent pressure injuries, as instructed by nursing staff.
- Follow infection prevention, hand hygiene, and hospital safety protocols.
- Handle and dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital policies and training.
- Provide emotional support and communicate politely with patients and their families.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.




- Follow instructions from nurses, doctors, and supervisors.
- Perform other patient-care-related duties as assigned by hospital management.

Qualifications and Skills

- Relevant patient care training or certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn may apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of patient hygiene, safety, and infection control.
- Physically capable of assisting patients with mobility and daily activities.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
