Job Summary

We are an established tube manufacturing company based in Madurai, operating since 1996. We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical Maintenance Engineer to manage electrical maintenance activities, troubleshoot machinery issues, and ensure the smooth and safe functioning of electrical systems across the factory.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, and preventive maintenance. The candidate should be capable of identifying faults, reducing machine downtime, and supporting uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of factory machinery, electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtime.
- Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and take corrective action when required.
- Handle electrical wiring, connections, switches, starters, and other industrial electrical components.
- Inspect and maintain motor control systems, panels, and associated electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve electrical issues and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and electrical equipment.
- Maintain records of machine breakdowns, maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts requirements.




- Identify recurring electrical problems and recommend solutions to improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with external technicians, vendors, and service providers for specialized repairs when necessary.
- Monitor electricity usage and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or a related electrical engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience will be preferred.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Good understanding of industrial motors, electrical circuits, control panels, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Practical knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to identify root causes of recurring electrical faults and implement corrective measures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and factory personnel.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical safety standards and procedures.
