Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Engineering

- Develop automotive wiring harness designs from concept to production.
- Interpret customer inputs such as SOW, drawings, specifications, and change requests.
- Prepare and review schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and routing layouts.
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and applicable automotive regulations.

NPD / Project Management

- Coordinate NPD activities as per APQP/PPAP methodology.
- Support RFQ costing, feasibility studies, and technical discussions with customers.
- Track project milestones and ensure on-time product launch (SOP).
- Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECN) during development and post-launch.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and supplier teams.
- Support process development, tooling validation, and pilot builds.
- Assist plant teams during trial runs, line balancing, and issue resolution.





Validation & Testing

- Plan and review DV/PV testing, reliability tests, and endurance tests.
- Analyze test results and implement design improvements.
- Support PPAP submission, customer audits, and technical reviews.

Continuous Improvement

- Drive cost reduction, design optimization, and VA/VE initiatives.
- Apply DFMEA, risk analysis, and lessons learned to recent projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Adherence to NPD timelines and milestones
- Quality of design and first-time-right development
- Successful SOP and PPAP approvals
- Cost, weight, and complexity reduction initiatives

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
