Job Description – Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting operations, bank payments, ledger maintenance, payroll processing, and financial reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounting & Ledgers: Maintain general, vendor, and customer ledgers; record journal entries and manage accounts payable/receivable in Tally/ERP.
- Bank Payments: Process vendor, statutory, and other payments through NEFT/RTGS/IMPS after verifying invoices, approvals, bank details, GST/TDS, and supporting documents.
- Banking & Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliation, track failed/rejected transactions, resolve discrepancies, and maintain payment records in line with company authorization procedures.
- Inward & Outward Transactions: Verify purchase invoices and goods inward records; process sales invoices and delivery challans; maintain inward/outward registers and coordinate with purchase, stores, sales,



and logistics teams.
- Payroll Processing: Process monthly salaries based on attendance and leave inputs; calculate deductions, incentives, and reimbursements; coordinate with HR and maintain payroll records.
- Compliance & Reporting: Assist with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and professional tax compliance, as applicable; support audits, month-end closing, and preparation of accounting reports and outstanding statements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com with 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel, banking transactions, and payment processing.
- Good knowledge of ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, payroll, GST, and TDS.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, confidentiality, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
