About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ab Initio ETL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data integration and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ab Initio, Teradata, SQL development, and ETL processes. You will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, and supporting mission-critical data platforms. The role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.

What You'll Do:





- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
- Build scalable and high-performance data integration workflows to support enterprise data initiatives.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
- Work extensively with Teradata databases for data integration, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Analyze source and target systems to develop efficient data migration and transformation strategies.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, application teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Support production deployments, release activities, incident resolution, and ongoing enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, effort estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ETL framework optimization.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5-8 years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or data warehousing projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio development and support.
- Extensive experience working with Teradata databases.
- Robust SQL development skills including complex queries, stored procedures, joins, analytical functions, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of ETL architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling principles.




- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with large volumes of data in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization for ETL workflows and databases.
- Familiarity with source control systems, release management, and deployment processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
