Job Title: VMC Programmer
Department: Production / CNC Machining

1. Job Purpose

To develop, modify, and optimize VMC programs to ensure accurate machining, quality output, and efficient production.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify CNC programs for VMC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements.
- Perform manual G-code and M-code programming.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machining parameters.
- Select suitable cutting tools and optimize machining cycles.
- Conduct program simulation, trial runs, and prove-out.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming errors.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
- Maintain program records and follow safety procedures.

3. Qualification





- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

4. Experience

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in VMC programming and CNC machining.
- Experience with Fanuc / Siemens controllers preferred.
- Knowledge of CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, or equivalent is an advantage.

5. Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and M-code.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
- Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and production targets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
