Position: Caregiver (Residential)
Qualification: 10th / 12th Pass or equivalent

Age: 40 to 55
Experience: Freshers and Experienced Candidates
Work Setting: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre

We are looking for residential candidate who caring, patient and responsible individuals to work as Psychiatric Patient Caregivers in our residential psychiatric rehabilitation centre. Both freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and day-to-day support to psychiatric patients/inmates.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal hygiene activities.
- Support to food serving to the inmates (morning, noon, night) and snacks time
- Support patients with daily living activities and encourage them to become as independent as possible.
- Monitor patients' behaviour, mood, activities, sleep, food intake, self-care and general well-being.
- Observe and immediately report any changes in behaviour, physical health or mental health condition to the concerned staff.
- Ensure the safety and security of patients within the rehabilitation centre.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, hygienic and comfortable setting for patients.




- Assist staff in maintaining patient attendance, activity records and other basic documentation as required.
- Support the nursing and social-work team in patient care and rehabilitation activities.
- Assist during medical emergencies and immediately inform the concerned nursing/medical staff.
- Follow the organization's rules, safety procedures and patient-care guidelines.
- Perform other patient-care and rehabilitation-related duties assigned by the organization.

Preferred Skills

- Patience, empathy and a caring attitude towards psychiatric patients.
- Good observation.
- Ability to handle patients calmly and respectfully.
- Willingness to work in a residential psychiatric rehabilitation environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically and mentally prepared to assist patients with their daily care needs.
- Previous experience in psychiatric care, elderly care, hospital care or residential care will be an added advantage.
