We are looking for an Instructional Designer – Science Content who has hands-on experience designing and developing educational projects for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The ideal candidate should have strong instructional design skills along with a good understanding of K-12 Science concepts and pedagogy. The candidate will be responsible for converting subject knowledge and curriculum requirements into engaging, structured, and learner-friendly digital learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop engaging K-12 Science learning content for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Create complete learning projects including lessons, modules, activities, assessments, quizzes, worksheets, and study materials.
- Develop detailed storyboards for e-learning and digital learning projects.
- Translate curriculum objectives and subject requirements into effective instructional content.
- Create age-appropriate and learner-centric explanations of scientific concepts.
- Develop interactive learning activities, simulations, scenarios, experiments, and application-based questions.
- Design MCQs, competency-based questions, case-based questions, HOTS questions, and formative/summative assessments.
- Ensure all content is scientifically accurate and pedagogically appropriate.
- Apply instructional design frameworks and principles such as ADDIE and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, curriculum developers, graphic designers, animators, and e-learning developers.
- Provide clear instructional specifications for graphics, animations, videos, simulations, and interactive elements.
- Review and quality-check content for accuracy, pedagogy, language, consistency, and alignment with learning objectives.
- Work on multiple Science projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Research and incorporate appropriate digital tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve content development.

Subject Expertise Required:





- Candidates should have experience working on educational content/projects in one or more of the following:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Experience across all three subjects will be highly preferred.
- Experience with CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, GCSE, or other international K-12 curricula will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

- Robust understanding of Instructional Design principles and methodologies.
- Good understanding of K-12 Science curriculum and pedagogy.
- Strong ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for learners.
- Experience creating storyboards and e-learning content.
- Strong assessment-development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail, particularly regarding scientific accuracy.
- Ability to work with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Tools & Technologies:

Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:

- Articulate 360
- Articulate Storyline
- Articulate Rise
- Canva
- LMS platforms
- SCORM
- AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude
- Other e-learning authoring and content-development tools

Qualification:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 2–10 years of relevant experience in Instructional Design, e-learning, curriculum development, or educational content development.
- Candidates with demonstrated experience creating Science-based educational projects will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- We are particularly looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Science Subject Knowledge + Instructional Design + Digital Learning Content Development
- Candidates who have previously worked on Science e-learning courses, K-12 curriculum projects, digital textbooks, interactive learning modules, assessments, simulations, or educational platforms will be strongly preferred.
- Please share relevant work samples/portfolio showcasing Physics, Chemistry, or Biology projects.
