About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Field Application Engineer (FAE) with strong SQL and database expertise to support our software applications at client sites across India. This is a database support role — no coding or development work is involved. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new technologies and comfortable with frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site and remote software support to clients, with primary focus on database-related issues
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and issue resolution
- Perform database checks, data corrections, and backend troubleshooting (no application coding/development)
- Travel to client sites across India for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support visits
- Diagnose and resolve software/application issues reported by clients in a timely manner
- Coordinate with internal technical/development teams for escalations beyond database scope
- Maintain documentation of site visits, issues resolved, and client interactions




- Train and guide end-users on basic application/database usage where required
- Stay updated and enthusiastic about learning new tools, technologies, and product updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field support / database support role
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, data validation) — compulsory
- Good understanding of database concepts and RDBMS (MS SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle)
- Willingness to travel extensively (Pan India) for site visits — compulsory
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills focused on data/database issues
- Positive communication skills to interact with clients directly
- Self-motivated with a genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Prior experience in software/application support (non-coding)
- Familiarity with ticketing/support tools
- Basic understanding of networking/system environments

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
