Job Title: SPM Panel Wiring Technician

Job Responsibilities

- Perform electrical control panel wiring for SPM machines and industrial automation equipment.
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Carry out wiring of PLC panels, control panels, power panels, and automation panels.
- Install and connect PLCs, relays, contactors, MCBs, MCCBs, SMPS, timers, terminal blocks, and other electrical components.
- Perform cable dressing, ferruling, crimping, termination, and panel assembly.
- Identify and rectify wiring faults as per electrical drawings.
- Assist with continuity testing, electrical troubleshooting, and panel testing.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain wiring quality, safety standards, and workplace discipline.

Required Technical Skills

- Experience in SPM machine panel wiring and industrial control panels.




- Knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC input/output wiring and sensor connections.
- Understanding of proximity sensors, limit switches, solenoid valves, and push buttons.
- Knowledge of VFD, servo drive, and motor wiring is an advantage.
- Ability to use a multimeter and other electrical testing instruments.
- Knowledge of cable numbering, ferruling, wire sizing, and terminal connections.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and troubleshooting.

Required Experience

- 1–5 years of relevant experience in electrical panel wiring.
- Experience in SPM machines, industrial automation, or control panel manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to complete panel wiring independently based on electrical drawings.
- Valuable coordination with electrical engineers, PLC programmers, and assembly technicians.
