Cafe Manager – Beanlore Coffee Roasters

Job Summary

Beanlore is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Cafe Manager to oversee daily café operations, lead the team, maintain service standards, and drive sales and profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, knowledge of café operations, and a passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Café Operations

- Manage day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth functioning of the outlet.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed as per company standards.
- Monitor food preparation, beverage service, presentation, and overall product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the café.

2. Team Management

- Lead, train, and supervise baristas, service staff, and other café employees.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage attendance, shifts, and manpower requirements.
- Conduct team briefings and ensure employees follow company policies and SOPs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.

3. Customer Service

- Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming café atmosphere.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service-related issues professionally.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction.

4. Sales & Business Performance

- Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and effective team engagement.
- Monitor daily sales,



average billing value, and product performance.
- Work towards achieving monthly sales and profitability targets.
- Review customer feedback and implement improvements to increase repeat business.

5. Inventory & Cost Control

- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, food ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.
- Ensure timely stock ordering and proper inventory management.
- Conduct regular stock counts and minimise wastage, pilferage, and stock discrepancies.
- Monitor food and beverage costs and maintain operational expenses within approved budgets.

6. Cash & Reporting

- Ensure accurate POS billing, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Prepare daily sales, inventory, wastage, and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with cash-handling procedures and company financial controls.

7. Compliance & Standards

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and applicable FSSAI requirements.
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure the café follows Beanlore’s brand standards, SOPs, and operational policies.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in café, QSR, restaurant, or F&B; operations.




- Prior experience managing a café outlet or leading a service team is preferred.
- Good understanding of coffee, beverages, food service, inventory, and POS operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage staff, control costs, and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in basic Excel, sales reporting, and inventory management.
- Good English communication skills; knowledge of Kannada or Hindi is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Monthly sales target achievement.
- Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
- Food and beverage cost control.
- Inventory accuracy and reduction in wastage.
- Staff productivity, attendance, and retention.
- Hygiene, audit scores, and SOP compliance.
- Cash and POS reconciliation accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A proactive, responsible, and hands-on leader who can independently manage café operations, motivate the team, maintain consistent product quality, and contribute to Beanlore’s growth.

Employment Type: Full time

Compensation: As per experience and company standards.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
