Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in accounting operations, inventory management, and GST compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience working with product-based, trading, manufacturing, or distribution companies and be capable of managing stock records, inventory reconciliation, GST returns, and day-to-day accounting activities independently.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and statutory compliance, along with the ability to maintain accurate financial and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and maintenance of books of accounts.
- Maintain inventory and stock records, ensuring accurate recording of stock movements, purchases, sales, and closing stock.
- Perform stock reconciliation between physical inventory and accounting records and investigate discrepancies.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing, input tax credit reconciliation, and GST documentation.
- Manage purchase and sales entries, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Generate and manage e-way bills and ensure compliance with applicable GST requirements.
- Handle TDS calculations, payments, and return filing.
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and inventory-related reports as required.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and stock-related discrepancies.
- Support monthly closing, audit requirements,



and other statutory compliance activities.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Prior experience in a product-based, trading, manufacturing, or distribution company is preferred.
- Practical experience in inventory accounting, stock management, and stock reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with GST return filing, particularly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Robust working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of purchase and sales accounting, invoicing, and input tax credit reconciliation.
- Knowledge of TDS, e-way bills, bank reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who have independently handled both accounting and inventory-related activities in an inventory-driven business. Candidates with practical experience in stock reconciliation, GST filing, and maintaining accurate purchase, sales, and inventory records will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
