Job Overview

Earthlix Commerce LLP is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to develop, maintain, and scale a robust e-commerce and procurement platform. The platform includes product and inventory management, advanced search capabilities, barcode generation, role-based access control, supplier management, supply-chain workflows, and Request for Quotation (RFQ) management.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in frontend and backend development, database optimization, search technologies, cloud deployment, and building secure, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Frontend Development

- Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Build user-friendly interfaces for product catalogs, inventory, pricing, orders, customers, and procurement modules.
- Implement large data grids with server-side pagination, sorting, filtering, search, virtualization, and optimized rendering.

2. Backend Development and API Integration

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and Express.js.
- Integrate payment gateways and shipping/logistics APIs, including webhooks, order tracking, refunds, cancellations, returns, and inventory synchronization.
- Implement pincode-based serviceability checks and Order Management System (OMS) workflows.
- Develop secure, reliable, and scalable backend architecture.

3. Database Management and Search Optimization

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, including schema design, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
- Implement Redis for caching, session management, rate limiting, and background job processing.
- Develop advanced search functionality using Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, including SKU search, fuzzy search, autocomplete, faceted filtering, catalog indexing, and relevance tuning.

4. E-commerce and Procurement Workflows

- Develop and maintain product catalog, pricing, inventory, order, and customer management modules.
- Implement procurement workflows covering purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approval processes, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).




- Build supplier onboarding and management features, supply-chain tracking, inventory replenishment, and RFQ workflows.
- Implement quotation management, quotation comparisons, negotiation processes, and approval workflows.

5. Barcode, QR Code and GST Invoicing

- Develop server-side barcode and QR code generation for SKUs, product labels, shipping packages, and GST invoices.
- Generate barcode and QR code assets in SVG and PNG formats and manage secure storage using AWS S3.
- Implement GST invoicing for CGST, SGST, and IGST, including credit notes and digital tracking QR codes.

6. Security and Access Control

- Implement authentication, authorization, JWT-based security, session management, and secure password hashing.
- Develop role-based access control (RBAC), permission management, and audit logging.
- Follow OWASP security best practices and ensure appropriate data protection.

7. Cloud Deployment and Maintenance

- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS.
- Work with services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, Application Load Balancer (ALB), Auto Scaling Groups, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and ACM.
- Support application scalability, performance optimization, and infrastructure security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain technical documentation.

8. Testing and Collaboration

- Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright.
- Use Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI for API testing and documentation.
- Work with Git, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-quality software.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

Backend: Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, REST API development

Databases:



PostgreSQL, MongoDB, database design, indexing, query optimization

Caching and Search: Redis, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch

Cloud and Security: AWS deployment, JWT authentication, API authorization, RBAC, OWASP best practices

Development and Testing Tools: Git, Docker, Linux, CI/CD, Jest, Playwright, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI

Required Qualifications and Experience

- 3–6 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and AWS deployment.
- Good understanding of scalable application architecture, database optimization, API design, and application security.
- Experience developing and maintaining production-grade frontend and backend applications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building enterprise applications or complex e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, supplier management, supply-chain operations, and RFQ workflows.
- Experience with barcode and QR code generation and GST invoicing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, Route 53, S3, ALB, Auto Scaling Groups, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and ACM.
- Experience working with large SKU catalogs, high-volume data grids, and search optimization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a technically solid and solution-oriented developer who can independently handle frontend and backend development, optimize application performance, and contribute to building a scalable e-commerce and procurement platform.

Candidates with practical production experience in complex business workflows, database optimization, search technologies, and AWS infrastructure will be preferred.
