About Kuro Designs

Kuro Designs is an architecture and interior design studio based in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, led by Principal Architect Komal Agrawal. We design residential, commercial and hospitality spaces with a focus on thoughtful planning, strong material sensibility and careful execution from the first concept to final handover. We are a close-knit, hands-on team, and every member works directly with the Principal Architect and with our clients.

The Role

We are looking for an Interior Designer who will take projects from concept to completion. You will turn client briefs into well-resolved interior schemes, produce clear drawings and convincing visualisations, and coordinate with vendors and site teams so that the design is built as intended. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Jubilee Hills studio, reporting to the Principal Architect.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements, budgets and timelines, and translate them into design concepts and space plans
- Develop mood boards, material and finish palettes, and furniture, lighting and decor selections
- Prepare 2D drawings in AutoCAD, including layouts, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical layouts, elevations and joinery details
- Build 3D models in SketchUp and 3ds Max and produce realistic renders in V-Ray or Enscape
- Prepare client presentations and post-process visuals in Photoshop
- Prepare BOQs and material specifications, and coordinate with vendors, contractors and suppliers
- Make regular site visits to check that work matches drawings, quality standards and timelines
- Present designs to clients and incorporate feedback through revisions
- Keep project documentation organised and up to date

Must-Have Requirements

- Education: B.Des, B.Sc or diploma in Interior Design,



or an equivalent qualification in interior design
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience at an interior design or architecture firm
- Languages: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory, along with good working English
- Software: Working proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (or Revit), V-Ray or Enscape, and Photoshop
- Portfolio: A portfolio of your work is required with every application
- Work mode: Willingness to work full-time and on-site at our Jubilee Hills studio in Hyderabad, including site visits

Please note: This role requires a formal qualification in interior design. Applications from candidates with a degree in civil engineering or in fields unrelated to interior design or architecture will not be considered. We appreciate your understanding.

Nice-to-Have

- Ability to speak Telugu, which helps when working with site teams and local vendors
- Experience with residential, hospitality or commercial interior projects
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, modular furniture and current market rates in Hyderabad
- Experience handling site execution and vendor coordination on your own
- A robust eye for detail and good client communication skills
