Job Description: Legal Intern (Awaiting Bar Council Enrolment)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legal Intern who has successfully completed an LL.B. degree and is awaiting enrolment with the Bar Council. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a fresh law graduate to gain practical exposure to litigation, court procedures, and legal practice under the guidance of senior advocates.

The firm handles a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on Arbitration and Related Matters (AR), including arbitration proceedings before the High Court of Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior advocates in handling arbitration, civil, criminal, and other legal matters.
- Learn and develop practical legal drafting skills, including the preparation of petitions, affidavits, applications, legal notices, and other court documents.
- Receive training in e-filing procedures, court documentation, and other aspects of legal practice.
- Accompany senior advocates to court hearings and assist them with case preparation and related work.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case notes, organise documents, and assist with case management.
- Gain practical knowledge of court procedures, litigation strategy,



and professional legal practice.

Eligibility Criteria

- Must have successfully completed an LL.B. degree and be awaiting enrolment with the Bar Council.
- Strong interest in litigation, arbitration, and High Court practice.
- Positive communication, research, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work under the guidance of senior advocates.

Remuneration and Learning Opportunity

This position is initially intended as a training and learning opportunity for a fresh law graduate awaiting Bar Council enrolment. During this period, the candidate will receive practical guidance and training in legal drafting, e-filing, court procedures, and litigation practice, including opportunities to accompany senior advocates to court.

Remuneration will commence upon successful enrolment with the Bar Council, subject to the terms mutually agreed upon. The position is designed to help the candidate build a strong foundation in legal practice through hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced advocates.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
