Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning & Development Manager to design, implement, and manage employee training and development programs across our hospitality operations. The candidate will be responsible for improving staff performance, enhancing guest service standards, developing employee skills, and ensuring consistent training practices across departments. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills, along with a good understanding of hotel and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement training and development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify training needs across departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Administration.
- Conduct training needs assessments and prepare annual training calendars.
- Design and deliver induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Organize training sessions on guest handling, communication, grooming, etiquette, and service excellence.
- Develop training modules, presentations, manuals, SOPs, and learning materials.
- Train employees on hospitality standards, customer service, workplace conduct, and qualified behaviour.
- Coordinate technical and operational training with departmental heads.
- Conduct workshops on leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, and supervisory skills.
- Support the development of supervisors, team leaders, and future managers.
- Monitor employee participation, training completion, and learning effectiveness.
- Evaluate training outcomes through assessments, feedback, observation, and performance indicators.
- Maintain training records, attendance sheets, evaluation reports, and employee development plans.
- Coordinate cross-training and skill-development programs for employees.
- Coach department trainers and support on-the-job training initiatives.
- Ensure employees understand hygiene, food safety, workplace safety,



and relevant compliance requirements.
- Conduct refresher training to maintain consistent service standards.
- Gather feedback from employees and managers to improve training programs.
- Coordinate with HR and management on performance gaps and development requirements.
- Stay updated on hospitality trends, training methodologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, employee training, or hospitality operations.
- Previous experience as an L&D; Executive, Training Manager, or Hospitality Trainer preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel, resort, restaurant, and guest-service operations.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop training content, presentations, and learning materials.
- Knowledge of training needs analysis and training effectiveness evaluation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate employees and work with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to conduct training across different departments and shifts.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
