Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials, furniture, and working drawings, along with the ability to take projects from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, flooring plans, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
- Create and modify designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization/rendering software, and other relevant design tools.
- Develop mood boards, material selections, colour schemes, and furniture layouts.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure proper execution of designs.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements and site details.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for execution.
- Assist in material selection, vendor coordination, and procurement as required.
- Monitor site execution to ensure that the design intent, quality, dimensions, and specifications are maintained.




- Review drawings and resolve design-related issues during execution.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, furniture, and design solutions.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of space planning and interior design principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, D5, or similar is preferred.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, false ceilings, flooring, and joinery.
- Ability to read and prepare technical/working drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of site execution and construction detailing will be an advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in interior design is preferred.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
