Artham Law Chambers is a Mumbai-based boutique law firm with offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, NCR and Jaipur. We advise and represent Indian and multinational clients in indirect tax (GST, customs), corporate and insolvency disputes, FEMA, PMLA, labour and employment matters, and data protection. Our associates work directly with partners on high-stakes matters from day one.

The Role
We are looking for a litigation associate who can handle tax and corporate disputes, including insolvency (IBC) and labour law matters, from drafting through to arguments. You will manage files independently, appear before courts and tribunals, and be the day-to-day contact for clients on your matters.

What You Will Do

- Draft petitions, appeals, replies, written submissions and applications in tax, insolvency and labour matters
- Appear and assist in hearings before the Bombay High Court, NCLT/NCLAT, CESTAT, GST Appellate Tribunal, and labour courts and industrial tribunals
- Handle insolvency work: claims, objections, applications and appeals for creditors, resolution professionals and liquidators
- Advise on labour and employment issues, including the Labour Codes, wage and benefit disputes, terminations and compliance reviews
- Prepare replies to tax show cause notices and represent clients at adjudication and appeal stages
- Research case law and write clear, practical legal opinions and client updates




- Coordinate with senior counsel, clients and internal teams; track deadlines and hearings
- Travel to other cities for hearings, client meetings and site visits as needed

What We Are Looking For

- LLB from a recognised university; enrolled with a State Bar Council
- 3–5 years of litigation experience in tax and/or corporate disputes, with real exposure to IBC or labour law matters
- Strong drafting skills: clear, precise and well-structured
- Comfortable arguing matters independently before tribunals
- Positive research skills and working knowledge of legal databases
- Able to manage multiple matters and deadlines without close supervision
- Willing to travel for work

Good to Have

- Experience in both tax litigation and insolvency/labour matters
- CA, CS or LLM qualification
- Prior experience
- Familiarity with AI and legal-tech research tools

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
