Job Details and Responsibilities

As a Senior Basis Consultant in BASIS Operations, you will play a pivotal role in understanding client requirements from both business and technology perspectives and translate them into material improvements in process and procedure for our clients. Your responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

- Supporting Customer SAP landscapes with Different databases with all maintenance activities
- Investigate and solve reported incidents confidently and effectively
- Proactively keep customer systems in perfect health
- Participate in planning maintenance activities and customer meetings
- Take responsibility for the delivery quality and help improve more junior consultants
- Build current systems with Lemongrass tooling
- Upgrade systems
- Support complex disaster recovery solutions

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including installation, upgrade, and patching of SAP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and components such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.
- Expertise in SAP database administration (HANA, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.), including installation, configuration and and performance tuning
- In-depth experience in incident investigation and solutioning, performance tuning
- Experience in interacting with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
- Ability to present technical solutions in a non-technical manner to business stakeholders.
- Self sufficient and does not need guidance for complex tasks

Cloud Expertise:





- Hands-on experience with deploying and managing SAP systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure services such as compute, storage, networking, and monitoring on cloud platforms.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SCP).

SAP HANA and S/4HANA:

- Experience in managing and supporting S/4HANA environments, including conversions from ECC to S/4HANA.

Backup, Recovery, and High Availability:

- Experience with setting up and managing disaster recovery, high availability, and backup strategies for SAP systems in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with clustering, failover, and replication solutions in SAP landscapes.

Security & Compliance:

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection in SAP environments.

Monitoring and Management Tools:

- Proficiency in using Monitoring tools and cloud-native monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.) for proactive monitoring and alerting

This position may require domestic and international travel as needed to meet business and client requirements.
