Job description:

PICU Staff Nurse

Position: Staff Nurse – PICU
Department: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Experience: 1–3 years in PICU / Pediatric ICU preferred
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Registration: Valid KNC registration mandatory

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition closely.
- Administer medications, IV fluids and treatments as prescribed.
- Handle ventilators, monitors and other PICU equipment.
- Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Follow infection control, medication safety and hospital protocols.




- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare teams for patient care.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts
- Compassionate and attentive approach towards pediatric patients and parents.
