Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Commercial qualified to evaluate technical and commercial procurement requirements, compare supplier quotations, negotiate commercial terms and prepare SLAs and supporting documentation for management approval. The role focuses on commercial evaluation and finalization, followed by a structured handover to the Procurement Team and Plant Head for execution and operational follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

- Techno-Commercial Analysis: Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, quantity schedules and purchase requirements. Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Projects, Production, Quality and the Plant Head to clarify requirements, deviations and technical compliance.
- Bid Levelling & Evaluation: Prepare like-for-like comparative statements covering price, taxes, duties, freight, payment terms, delivery timelines, warranty, quality, scope, exclusions and service conditions.
- Risk Assessment: Identify missing information, assumptions, technical deviations and commercial risks. Document evaluation methods, exceptions and recommendations for management review.
- Negotiation & Finalization: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranty, delivery commitments, service levels and quotation validity within approved authority. Document negotiation outcomes and escalate material deviations or matters beyond delegated authority to RA – Director.
- SLA & Commercial Documentation: Prepare or coordinate SLAs, supplier agreements, commercial terms and supporting schedules, defining scope, quality standards, delivery/turnaround times, documentation, escalation procedures, corrective actions and applicable remedies.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving and value-improvement opportunities through quotation analysis, negotiation, specification clarification and commercial benchmarking.
- Reporting & Governance: Maintain supplier quotations, comparative statements, negotiation records, approvals and finalized SLAs.



Use Excel and ERP/business systems for analysis and reporting while ensuring confidentiality, ethical procurement and compliance with approval procedures.
- Handover: After finalization and required approvals, hand over the complete commercial evaluation, negotiated terms, SLAs and supporting documents to the Procurement Team and Plant Head. Routine purchase execution and operational follow-through remain with these teams.

Candidate Requirements

- Engineering degree is mandatory.
- 8–12 years of experience in procurement, technical purchasing or techno-commercial functions.
- Experience in façade, fenestration, aluminium fabrication, glazing, construction, engineering projects, building materials or fit-out/interior contracting is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of bid levelling, quotation analysis, supplier negotiations and commercial evaluation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications and quantity schedules.
- Experience in preparing or finalizing SLAs, supplier agreements and commercial terms.
- Strong Excel, analytical, numerical, documentation and presentation skills; ERP familiarity is desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with high integrity, sound judgement and attention to detail.

- Well-supported commercial recommendations considering cost, quality, compliance, delivery and risk.
- Effective negotiations and cost/value improvements.
- Clear, complete SLAs and commercial documentation.
- Timely approvals and structured handover to the Procurement Team and Plant Head.
- Reliable reporting, documentation and adherence to company policies and ethical procurement practices.
