Description

You will be supporting life sciences consulting engagements, with a primary focus on healthcare claims, EHR and other real-world datasets. The role will work as a primary data scientist on billable projects, translating business questions into robust data-driven analyses and insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Work as a primary data scientist on billable client projects, delivering high-quality analytics under appropriate project guidance.
- Analyze large-scale medical and pharmacy claims, EHR, and other healthcare/RWD datasets to address life sciences business questions.
- Develop analytical datasets and workflows using SQL and Python, including cohort development, patient journey, HCP, treatment and outcomes analyses.
- Perform data exploration, statistical analyses, quality checks and validation, and translate findings into clear, decision-oriented insights.
- Collaborate with consulting and domain teams to understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate analytical approaches.
- Support and shadow senior data scientists in the development of advanced analytics, Generative AI and Agentic AI tools/accelerators, building capabilities in these areas over time.

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in data science, healthcare analytics or a related analytical role.
- Strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with healthcare claims, EHR or real-world data strongly preferred.
- Understanding of the life sciences/pharmaceutical industry and common commercial, Medical Affairs or Market Access analytics use cases is desirable.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings clearly.
