About the Internship

PranavX Labs is looking for a motivated Mobile App Developer Intern to contribute to cross-platform mobile application development for Android and iOS using React Native and Expo.

This three-month, fully remote internship is suitable for candidates who have the required technical fundamentals and want to apply their knowledge to practical development projects.

Selected candidates will collaborate remotely with the team, work on assigned development tasks, and build their technical portfolio through project-based learning.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have knowledge of the following technologies and concepts:

- JavaScript (ES6+): Variables, functions, arrays, objects, promises, async/await, and modern JavaScript syntax.
- React Native: Developing cross-platform mobile applications.
- Expo: Setting up, running, and testing React Native applications.
- React Components and Hooks: Functional components, props, state, useState, useEffect, and reusable components.
- Navigation: Implementing screen navigation and managing navigation flows.
- REST API Integration: Making API requests, handling JSON responses, and managing loading and error states.
- Git & GitHub: Version control, repositories, commits, branches, and collaborative development.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of the following technologies will be an advantage:

- TypeScript: Basic types, interfaces, and typed React components.
- Node.js & Express.js: Backend development and API fundamentals.
- MongoDB: Database fundamentals and application data management.
- Authentication and Secure API Handling: Login workflows, token-based authentication, and secure API communication.
- Push Notifications: Integrating mobile push notification functionality.
- Mobile App Deployment: Application builds, testing, and Android/iOS deployment workflows.

- Develop mobile application screens and reusable UI components.

Three-Month Internship Roadmap

Month 1: Fundamentals and UI Development

- Set up the React Native and Expo development environment.
- Develop screens, reusable components, and navigation.
- Apply JavaScript fundamentals and React hooks.
- Use GitHub for version control.
- Complete an initial application development assignment.

Month 2: APIs and Application Features

- Integrate REST APIs and handle application data.
- Develop interactive features, forms, and validation.
- Work on authentication and backend integration where required.
- Test functionality and resolve bugs.
- Improve code quality and application usability.

Month 3: Testing and Project Delivery

- Refine application functionality and user experience.
- Conduct testing and fix identified issues.
- Complete project documentation and GitHub updates.
- Explore application build and deployment workflows.
- Present completed work for final evaluation.

Assignments and deliverables may vary depending on project requirements and the intern's progress.

Eligibility Criteria

- Open to students, freshers, and aspiring mobile app developers.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with React Native and Expo.
- Understanding of React components, hooks, navigation, and REST APIs.




- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and collaborate with the team.
