Full Stack Engineer – AI & FinTechRole Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team and contribute to building a next-generation enterprise platform in the financial technology space.

You will play an important role in developing core platform capabilities, including decisioning systems, AI-powered document processing, data security, document parsing, data extraction, and workflow automation.

You will work with technologies including Node.js, PostgreSQL, Python, GraphQL, and React, while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and React.
- Build Python-based AI pipelines for document processing, data extraction, verification, and underwriting workflows.
- Develop and enhance platform features such as decisioning systems and document automation tools.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business and user requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure reliable data flow and real-time functionality.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop efficient database structures and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Contribute to architectural and technical decisions as the platform scales.
- Follow software engineering best practices to build secure, maintainable, and reliable applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical challenges and develop effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.




- Strong proficiency in:
- Node.js
- Python
- PostgreSQL
- React
- Good understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure; AWS experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production applications.
- Experience with document processing, OCR, data extraction, or intelligent automation.
- Experience with financial technology, lending, credit, risk, or related domains.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development.
- Experience working with AI-powered decisioning or workflow automation systems.
