RL Technologies is looking for a result-oriented Sales Engineer to develop business opportunities for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and related environmental engineering projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience in technical sales, project sales, client relationship management, and business development within the water treatment or environmental engineering industry.

Responsibilities

- Identify and generate current business opportunities for STP, ETP, and WTP projects.
- Develop relationships with industrial clients, consultants, EPC contractors, builders, and project developers.
- Generate leads through client visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations and project proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, tenders, and ongoing project opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and project-site visits.




- Negotiate commercial terms and support order finalisation.
- Coordinate with engineering and project execution teams during project handover.
- Maintain sales reports, lead records, and customer databases.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and develop long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or project sales preferred.
- Experience in STP, ETP, WTP, wastewater treatment, water treatment, or environmental engineering projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of technical quotations, tendering, BOQs, and commercial proposals is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and project-site visits.
