Sr. General Manager – Construction (EPC & Hospital Projects) leads the end-to-end execution of large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) healthcare infrastructure, ensuring the project meets cost, schedule, quality, and specialized medical regulatory standards.Job Overview

- Role Title: SR General Manager – Construction (EPC / Turnkey Healthcare Projects)
- Department: Operations & Project Execution
- Reports to: Vice President / Chief Operating Officer / Board of Directors
- Direct Reports: Project Directors, EPC Project Managers, Site Heads, QA/QC Managers, HSE Managers, and Contract Managers

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational Leadership

- Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of multi-million dollar EPC hospital and healthcare construction projects from concept to commissioning. [1, 2]
- Establish strategic operational frameworks, master schedules, and financial baselines for specialized healthcare facilities (e.g., cleanrooms, operating theaters, medical gas systems, and heavy mechanical/electrical infrastructure).
- Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering design, procurement/logistics, site construction, and commissioning teams. [1]
- The candidate should capacity to bring more than 300 workmen for on going projects

EPC Project & Budget Management

- Oversee full Profit & Loss (P&L;), project cash flows, cost forecasting, and margin control across the EPC lifecycle. [1, 2, 3]
- Manage turnkey procurement strategies, vendor pre-qualification, and sub-contractor negotiations for specialized medical equipment integration and civil/MEP works. [1, 2]




- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to schedule adherence, earned value management (EVM), and productivity. [1]

Hospital-Specific & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with local and international healthcare facility guidelines, building codes, fire safety norms, and infection control risk assessments (ICRA) during construction.
- Coordinate interface requirements for specialized hospital systems, including HVAC/HEPA filtration, medical gas pipelines, isolation rooms, and emergency power back-ups.
- Oversee statutory approvals, environmental clearances, local municipal/health authority sanctions, and final occupancy/operation handover certificates. [1, 2]

Risk, Quality & HSE Management

- Implement robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols tailored to active or complex medical construction environments.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, contract reviews, and constructability reviews to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) standards up to final medical commissioning and validation. [1, 2, 3]

Stakeholder & Client Management

- Act as the primary executive liaison for hospital boards, client representatives, architectural consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Present regular progress, financial, and risk-mitigation reports to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
