Job Description – Warehouse Supervisor - Operations

Location: Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh

About the Role

The Dispatch Supervisor will manage the dispatch activities at a leading automobile parts manufacture’s warehouse. The role will ensure correct picking, checking, loading, documentation, and timely vehicle dispatch while coordinating with the warehouse, transporters, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

- - Supervise daily dispatch activities as per the dispatch plan.
- Allocate work to dispatch staff and manage activities.
- Ensure correct SKU, size, quantity, and condition of tyres before loading.
- Supervise picking, staging, loading, and vehicle placement.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers for vehicle placement and loading.
- Update dispatch transactions and stock movements in WMS/SAP.
- Check for damaged, rejected, or quality-hold tyres before dispatch.




- Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and dispatched on schedule.
- Maintain dispatch records and provide shift handover details.
- Report stock, loading, documentation, or vehicle-related issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure Client and Express3PL procedures are followed.

Requirements

- - Minimum +12 or Diploma. Education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in dispatch or warehouse operations.
- Experience in Finished Goods and/or Tyre Warehouse operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of WMS and SAP.
- Experience supervising warehouse or dispatch staff.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
